Boxing therapy is a form of therapeutic exercise that combines the physical and mental benefits of boxing with the emotional and psychological support of therapy. It’s used to help individuals manage stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health challenges.
In boxing therapy, participants engage in non-combative technical boxing training that focuses on controlled breathing, mindfulness, and movement.
The physical activity involved in boxing therapy will improve mood through the release of endorphins, enhance focus and discipline, and help participants channel emotions like anger or frustration in a productive way.
ABOUT
30 Day Boxing Therapy
When Hope Punches Back
Twenty two years ago, I walked into a boxing gym for the first time. I was unhealthy mentally, physically and spiritually, and I told myself I would give boxing 30 days to see how I felt. These 30 days changed my life.
Discovering my passion in those 30 days led me to want to help others discover more of themselves through the sport of boxing. I’ve trained thousands of people over the years, in gyms across the city, to eventually opening my own gym (now closed), I invite you to join me for your own 30 Day Boxing Therapy discovery.
In my latest passion project, I will be working one-on-one directly with a select group on clients, and we’ll be documenting our process and sharing it on my Youtube channel. If you are dealing with your own personal struggles, and you have been curious about boxing, let the fight become the cure.
My intent is to continue to be in service to my community, this time on a global scale, by traveling and sharing powerful stories of transformation that prove boxing isn’t just a sport, but a pathway to self-discovery.
From overcoming anxiety, addiction, and depression to battling illness and finding resilience, these stories capture real moments of strength, training, struggle, and transformation.
Created by Coach Reese Scott, founder of Women’s World of Boxing NY and known as ‘The Boxing Therapist’, this channel brings decades of coaching, storytelling, and lived experience to you.
Whether you’re here for motivation, inspiration, or a reminder that you’re not fighting alone, you’ll find it here — one punch, one story, one step at a time.
30 Day Boxing Therapy is currently in production and we would love to share this experience with you.
